Why Should You Fast?
– To show your devotion to God
– “Giving up something to get something from God”
– In other words, DETACH from something that I treasure, so that I can ATTACH myself deeper in the ultimate treasure, God. My goal in life is to be available to you God
– Rick Warren says, we were created to WORSHIP God!!
– How do I get closer to God? By fasting and praying

– Daniel Fast-No Meats/No Sweets
– Sun up to Sun Down
– One meal a day
– Daily fast from media or complete fast from media |
PRAYER FOCUS
– God’s Will (Matthew 6:5-17)
– Humble or Healing (2 Chronicles 7:14)
– Praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
– Faith (Hebrews 11)
– Trust (Proverbs 3:3-5)
– Why we exist (1 Corinthians 8:6 AMP)
