Engaging, encouraging, and equipping women to Glorify God and Enlarge His kingdom.

It was the vision of First Lady Denise Hunter to conjoin the gifts of the Women of FAME into a ministry that would be Biblical evidence of modern virtue.

The Women's Ministry of First AME Church is comprised of women of the Proverbs.

• The women fortify themselves with the Word of God in monthly Bible Study under the leadership of Dr. Thema Bryant Davis
• Incarcerated women are embraced by Women of FAME and experiencing the loving nature of Christ in circles of prayer both within and outside of jail.
• The women collect clothing and shoes for incarcerated women and women needing appropriate attire for job interviews.
• Forty women journeyed to Catalina Island for a Spiritual Retreat and day of grace.
• On Women's Day, the Women's Chorus sings, women usher, dynamic preaching by Dr. Renita Weems, and women honor our men and children in worship to the glory of God.
