I am blessed to announce my wedding to an absolutely wonderful man that the Lord had presented to me. His name is Alvin L. Starks. Although I am a member of City of Refuge, Alvin and several of his family have been FAME members for a very long time. My Godmother and your former Bishop, Bishop Carolyn Tyler- Guidry will be officiating the ceremony at The Allen House in the garden. I must say that The improvements there are absolutely beautiful. We are so excited to have our wedding and reception event there in June of this year. I do hope at some point that pictures of The Allen House and the gardens will be placed on this site to promote it's use for weddings meetings and events. Having relocated to North carolina with my husband has been a difficult transition for me. One of the things that softens the missing my home, family, friends and lifestyle is, being able to watch Sunday service in TV One. It is inspiring and provides another perspective not conveyed here.
