The Los Angeles Sentinel, Sabriya’s Castle of Fun and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Blood Drive for children affected by Sickle Cell, Leukemia and other debilitating blood diseases.

On Thursday, September 20, 2012, The L.A. Sentinel and Sabriya’s Castle of Fun will be hosting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for a Blood Drive at our offices located at 3800 S. Crenshaw Blvd from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

In support of Sickle Cell Month and to help children with leukemia and other chronic blood diseases, we are doing our part to bring this community together and give blood. The children need you desperately and a shortage of blood could mean the difference between life and death. Take a few minutes of your time to make a HUGE difference and contribute blood. The children need YOU.

What Greater Gift can you individually or your organizations members give collectively than to help save the life of a child. What many people do not know is while we all have the same blood types blood from African Americans is different from that of other ethnic groups. African Americans Blood carries certain chromosones in which African American Children more often than not will respond better to treatment when receiving blood from African American Donors. There is a severe shortage of African American Donors and that is why we are calling upon you our friends to support this effort. PLEASE, PLEASE SHOW UP NEXT THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm and Give.
