California Attorney General Jerry Brown Worships
at FAME Church Sunday, April 18, 2010
On Sunday, April 18, 2010, California Attorney General Jerry Brown paid a special visit to First AME Church of Los Angeles and worshipped with the congregation. "Good morning, and it's a real good morning right here at First AME," said Attorney General Brown. "We're all rising together, right? So we've got our challenges ahead of us, but together we can put people first. I have a long history with FAME," said the Attorney General who is a candidate for Governor of California. Pastor John J. Hunter, Senior Minister of FAME Church of Los Angeles expressed his admiration and well wishes for Mr. Brown who later shook hands with members of the congregation. “Attorney General Jerry Brown has a distinguished resume of public service and we are proud to have him join us today," said Pastor John J. Hunter.
